Through formal research into the expressive possibilities of reading and illustration, Volare a Tutti i Costi tells three stories through words and images. A tale which unwinds along the road of life, from birth to adulthood. From the furore and determination of a little fish that wants to make it, "at all costs!", passing to a hen who finds herself before the discovery of freedom, "what does flying mean?", right up to the pearls of wisdom of a pensive seed, "perhaps". The illustrations which accompany the stories are manipulated and projected during the show onto the stage in a way which allows the actress to interact with the visual score through live takes. The audio and video devices are an integral part of the set.
The three tales the show is based on are taken from the series Incontri da Favola from Arboreto Edizioni Il Seme Pensieroso (The Pensive Seed) by Marco Campana paints the story of a seed which, through doubt, expresses the necessity for total adhesion to its life’s journey.
La Favola del Pesce Cambiato (The Tale of the Fish that Changed) by Emma Dante and Gianluigi Toccafondo tells of the mystery of birth between painted words, twisted thoughts, fish and pools deformed by curves, tints and colours. Mary Sconta e la gallinella evasa (Mary Sconta and the Runaway Chicken) by Marco Baliani and Stefano Ricci imagines a meeting with a chicken which has escaped from a disquieting "factory" from which screams are heard day and night.

The Incontri da Favola series is dedicated to original tales and to all authors, poets, animals and men who feel the need to write and listen to fables. The series includes modern fables, for children and adults to read and look at together.

Nicoletta Fabbri
An actress and authoress who works on different theatrical education projects.
In ‘98 she re-founded the company ‘Serra Teatro’ with Pier Paolo Paolizzi. In the Rimini area she has supervised and run for six years “Pianoterra”, a project of theatrical culture in a small space linked to the production of independent research, devised by Serra Teatro and Teatro della Centena.
She has worked in various musical theatre productions and has collaborated with numerous bodies and companies, including L’Arboreto di Mondaino, building a relationship of study and research with its creator Fabio Biondi. In the last few years a fundamental meeting was with the Motus dance group which accompanied her through the whole project on R.W. Fassbinder, working in Piccoli Episodi di Fascismo Quotidiano �" Short Episodes of Daily Fascism and in Rumore Rosa �" Pink Noise.

Stefano Bisulli
Video maker and scriptwriter. In the early nineties, he became attracted to video as an artistic and professional form of expression, self-producing his first works as well as some industrial videos. Over the next few years he started working in theatre and collaborated with various companies (Teatro di Sacco, Accademia della Follia, Pantakin from Venice, Teatro degli Dei, Questa Nave), both on the documentary and production sides. In 2000 he founded the production company, Camera Stylo. As a director he has produced shorts, musical video-clips, video-theatre works and documentaries.
In 2008 he was among the founders of the production company Cinematica, with which he produced the film documentary, Insulo de la Rozoj - la libertà fa paura (Rose Island �" freedom frightens), co-produced in 2009 by the Emilia Romagna region.
